Christopher Sutherland, of Ross Farm and Lindisfarne Oysters, commissioned J H Wood to make a bespoke trailer for Lindisfarne Oysters.

The customer had a specific requirement which came from their use of specific sized crates. JHW were able to design a purpose built load platform around these and to marry it to a bespoke chassis as the customer required.

The trailer to had to have a significant weight bearing capacity but which could also be towed by light vehicles. The trailer had to be fully galvanised as it spends much of it’s time in contact with sea water
