A & G Warcup of Letham Hill, Etal, required the replacement of grain silos following a collapse of the original silos.

Working with Sukuup Europe, JH Wood replaced two original 200 tonnes silos with  two 500 tonnes self-discharging units. The remaining equipment was refurbished and facilitated and  JH Wood installed  the link-up for the new installation working with other contractors.

This was a multifaceted project involving a number of parties. Programming of works was critical as there were distinct parts to the job which meant only one of the parties could be operating on site at any one time. JHW were able to deploy staff in a flexible manner allowing critical works to be done quickly and so not hold other parties up.
